Why does the bottom rust? Food residue left in the kettle for a long time can corrode the interior and destroy the protective layer on the stainless steel, leading to rust. Please remember to dry and descale the kettle at least once a week.
Why does the kettle leak? This is likely caused by overfilling the water. Do not add water beyond the "MAX LINE" marked on the interior.
